The Virginia Mae Days Skilled Nursing and Memory Care Facility is the newest building at the Veterans Home of California in Yountville, the largest and oldest veterans home in the United States. This $280 million, 317,000 square foot facility was designed for a 100-year lifespan and is the first healthcare project in the country to use a precast structural system consisting of over 2,000 elements weighing up to 35 tons each, with 13-inch thick wildfire-resistant panels.
